The Bill Buckner Shuffle

I'm not a Mets fan, but I'm fast becoming one. Something to do with the departure of Piazza and the fact that the first six Yankees games this season have aired on the East Coast at 10pm. That, and YES Network announcer Michael Kay's continued pursuit of the platonic ideal of douchebag voice intonation.

This though, just amazing. Some guy managed to sync up audio from Game 6 of the 1986 Mets/Red Sox World Series with footage reenacted on RBI Baseball for the NES. Truly epic.

Link from San Diego Serenade.
Returning to music (in a sense), a great Mets post with mp3s is up at Moistworks.

Postscript: On my commute home I realized I somehow conflated the Met's 2B's "Tim Teufel Shuffle" with the "Bill Buckner Bobble". Whatever.
